Orange Wholesale at VivaTech 2025: Powering trusted innovation through start-up partnerships

2025-06-19

From June 11 to 14, 2025, Orange Wholesale took center stage at VivaTech 2025 in Paris, standing out as the only telecom operator with a dedicated booth. More than just a showcase, our stand embodied our role as a sovereign innovation actor, building bridges between infrastructure excellence and the next generation of technological breakthroughs. True to our belief, “Trusted Innovation,” we demonstrated how resilience, performance, and trust can be accelerated when startups and industry leaders co-create.

Commitment to start-up collaboration Our philosophy:

"Bring the start, we bring the up." We believe innovation gains real power when it's shared, tested, and scaled. We partnered with a curated selection of visionary innovative startups aligned with our mission of delivering secure, resilient future-ready connectivity for operators, B2B and B2C markets.

Our executives addressing critical topics

Orange executives actively participated in key discussions. Christel Heydemann addressed the challenges of strategic sovereignty in digital infrastructure, Aliette Mousnier-Lompré discussed resilience and digital sovereignty and Bruno Zerbib explored how companies can remain competitive in an AI-driven economy.

Focus on satellite and photonics:

LiveSpace A highlight of the Orange Wholesale presence was LiveSpace, an interactive demonstration where visitors explored how hybrid satellite and terrestrial networks ensure global connectivity—even in the most remote environments. Several French deeptech startups showcased their innovations:

  • Greenerwave: multi-orbit SATCOM terminals with passive electronically steerable antennas, offering dynamic switching between GEO, MEO, and LEO orbits.

  • Miratlas: atmospheric monitoring tools that optimize free-space optical communication in real-time, even under adverse weather conditions.

  • Skynopy: plug and play solution offering ground segment “as a service” enabling satellite operators to avoid heavy infrastructure investments.

  • Cailabs: laser shaping and photonics solutions providing high-performance, low-latency communication.

Together, these startups illustrated Orange Wholesale’s strategy of deep tech integration to strengthen network performance, resilience and security across the globe.

Trusted networks: CDN and cybersecurity synergies

In the realm of trusted infrastructure, we partnered with OGO Security, a French startup specializing in sovereign cybersecurity solutions for web applications. OGO’s AI-powered firewall and behavior-based analysis are integrated in Orange’s trusted CDN offer, optimizing and reinforcing security for digital content delivery while ensuring full compliance with GDPR. This partnership is a concrete example of how Orange supports the sovereign digital ecosystem in Europe.

Building the future with startups

More than 69 startups were featured across the Orange booth, including 12 directly connected to Orange Wholesale. Our presence wasn't just about showcasing our demos. It was about building relationships, fostering mutual trust, and reinforcing our role as an innovation enabler in the European tech landscape.

Whether it’s unlocking new connectivity paradigms through quantum-safe networking or co-developing sovereign cybersecurity solutions, our ambition remains the same: to empower a trusted, inclusive, and resilient digital future.

At Orange Wholesale, we don’t just support startups - we scale with them. VivaTech 2025 proved once again that trust is the true currency of innovation, and we’re proud to Lead the Future.
