Wholesale connectivity solutions that make a difference for operators and hyperscalers worldwide

This focus on innovation is reflected in advanced data connectivity solutions that truly make a difference on the market. In its 2026 Assessment, GlobalData highlights Orange Wholesale’s CDN, the “only European sovereign CDN provider”, which offers “secure, high-performance content delivery network (…) deployed across the carrier’s Tier 1 global network and close to the network edge to accelerate dynamic content delivery”. It also noted our very new IMS-as-a-Service release, which “aligns with the carriers’ long-term vision to further expand their NaaS portfolio by enabling more innovative telco-as-a-service-based solutions”.

World-class infrastructure for deeper network reach

For GlobalData, Orange Wholesale's network infrastructure is key to developing “very strong” momentum and stability, as it is built on “a robust Tier 1 backbone”, with a global footprint that includes over 450,000 km of subsea fiber, 600,000 km of terrestrial fiber and 230 International multiservice PoPs, as well as strong satellite connectivity assets to establish itself as a provider of space-based communication services”. Their final recommendation is therefore that “Customers seeking a connectivity partner that can offer deep network reach across Europe and Africa should place Orange Wholesale to the top of their shortlist”.

Global human and digital resources for effective customer service

Finally, the analyst details the steps taken by Orange Wholesale to support its customers globally, whether digitally through its Click digital connectivity services platform, or through expert teams. GlobalData notes that the “1,500 experts across 24 countries where the company has wholesale activities with a follow-the-sun business model include PMI-certified project managers that are assigned to help deliver complex deals, operations experts along with a service design team that help deliver tailor-made operating models.

This setup allows Orange Wholesale to be “well-regarded in the global wholesale market for its strengths in innovation, network performance, and service quality, making it a standout compared to its peers”.
