Orange Wholesale International has been named a “Leader” in “Vision & Strategy” by GlobalData in its latest company assessment published on January 17, 2023. While we maintained our “Very Strong” overall index and consolidated our positions in all other categories, this outstanding rating constitutes a huge leap forward in our lasting work to anticipate market trends and thus provide the best to our customers.

This progress clearly illustrates our involvement in the industry and how we invest and innovate to stay ahead of the market. The report mentions that we are making progress with our digital enhancement transformation goals, focusing on the cloud including CPaaS, digitalizing and expanding our network, improving our security and anti-fraud tools, as well as cloud-based solutions.

Orange Wholesale International stands out as the biggest global wholesaler in terms of value for voice, with an unparalleled and constantly growing network across 5 continents. This report is proof that we are heading in the right direction to offer a best-in-class service to our customers. Among other things, we aim to extend the reach and capabilities of our global data networks under the sea, on land, and in space.

To underpin its assessment, GlobalData stresses that we are “increasing the number of points of presence (PoPs)” we have, adding that we “earmarked a EUR7.1 billion global investment for diversified cable routes to strengthen (our) submarine capacity.” The report also states that “Orange has over 40 submarine cables globally covering 450,000km, including the 6,600km Dunant cable.” It concludes by pointing out that “seven new-generation submarine cables were planned or announced in 2022.”
