An unparalleled worldwide coverage

As the owner of our networks, we control the end-to-end value chain. This also applies to our CDN PoPs. This means that our solution is secured “by design” because it is part of our IP network. The novelty is the launch of an enhanced solution thanks to a new software layer. It allows us to increase the number of our CDN PoPs from 50 to 200, extending our CDN footprint from France, Western Europe and Africa to Eastern Europe, the United States and Asia.

Africa has a special place and is somehow in the DNA of Orange. The continent witnesses an unequalled traffic growth. This is why the Group is present in 18 Countries in Middle East and Africa with more than 140 million customers. Having an unparalleled global coverage is a unique opportunity for Orange to offer a solution to broadcasters, telcos, OTT, as well as the banking/finance, e-commerce, and gaming industries, allowing them to expand their customer base.

An enhanced digitalized process

Our customers want much more and are asking for greater digitalization. The huge growth in content traffic is pushing us to innovate and this new software layer will also allow us to digitalize the customer acquisition process through our Orange Click portal. The extension of our coverage is mandatory to anticipate market trends, consumption growth, and ultimately, be an asset for our customers.

IBC is the world's leading content and technology event and your opportunity to connect with over 40,000 professionals from 170+ countries in Amsterdam.
