As the GLF publishes our second annual Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging report, we take this time to focus on some of the key trends that we are seeing in our industry, communicate the progress made on gender equity and focus on the racial equity initiatives we are working on, noting that these vary considerably depending on Geographical location. There are many dimensions of diversity that require focus by us all but we are committed, as the GLF, to continue our work and ensure that the wider industry are advocating for inclusivity for all diverse groups.

Demand for IoT applications will continue to rise, especially in areas such as healthcare, manufacturing and retail distribution centres, as well as in “smart offices”. However, 5G rollout and connectivity will be required to unlock its full potential, so are we finally at the stage where we will see IoT take off?
